1. How do I make an appointment, and what form of payment do you accept?
Due to the popularity of our unique services, Charleston Style Concierge accepts appointments Monday-Saturday. Please contact us to determine an appointment time which best fits your schedule. A major credit card reserves your appointment and does not have to be your form of payment at completion of your service. Charleston Style Concierge prefers payment by cash or check but is happy to accept credit cards.

2. What is your cancellation policy?
Charleston Style Concierge asks that you acknowledge and respect our cancellation policy. We understand there may be times when you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid having your credit card charged for a scheduled service. To cancel or reschedule an appointment please call (843)323-2466. Email cancellations are not accepted.
*Changes made to a Saturday appointment requires 48 hour notice. Please keep in mind that Saturday appointments are highly sought after and last minute changes affect clients who were not able to obtain an appointment.

3. What does a closet edit involve and why is it beneficial?
A closet edit begins with a discussion of your wardrobe goals, lifestyle, and personal style. With our discussion in mind, we will go through your entire wardrobe to determine what works for you and your lifestyle. Trying some of your clothes on will help you learn more about the best way to dress yourself while considering proportions, flattering colors, and fit. We will work together to decide what wardrobe pieces you should keep and what should be donated. Your closet is then organized so you know what you have, where it is, and how to easily put an outfit together. A typical closet edit will take about four hours. Keep an open mind and leave the rest up to the Style Concierge. Your favorite part of the closet edit will be the payoff you feel the next morning when you know exactly what to wear and where to find it!

4. I’m embarrassed for someone to see my closet.
This is a common concern, don’t be embarrassed. The purpose of a closet edit is to figure out how to make the most of the items already in your closet. It doesn’t matter how pretty or clean your closet is, only how we can make your closet function positively for you. I’m here to help you turn your closet into a place that is organized, functional, and simplifies your life. Imagine being able to sleep ten extra minutes each morning because getting dressed is quick and easy!

It would be great if we could all go on one of those makeover shows that give you $5000 for a new wardrobe. Back in the real world, most of us have to wear what we currently have as we slowly add updates to our wardrobe. The good news is that a new take on what you already own can be equally refreshing. We will work together to make your wardrobe portray your personal style in the most flattering way. Once you are confident you don’t have to go to work naked, we’ll make a list of pieces to add to your wardrobe as time and money permits.

It is my job to help you show off your own style. A good personal stylist is able to show your unique personality through clothing in a modern and sophisticated way. I spend time learning about my client’s lifestyle, background, and style goals when developing their personal style. Together we can create looks that provide self-confidence and personality.

A lot of people think having a personal stylist is a luxury they can’t afford. It’s actually an investment and one that helps you make better shopping choices. Personal Styling can be done on any budget. As you work with your stylist, you learn how to dress your body type, where to save and where to spend, and how to make your wardrobe function for your lifestyle. Once you have this knowledge it changes your continuous feelings of having “nothing to wear.” You will find you buy less and wear what you already have more. I have helped clients find wardrobe pieces from stores ranging from Target to Saks and everywhere in between.

8. What is a “Look Book”? What is the point of one?
When you wake up sleep deprived and wondering what to wear, you can turn to your “Look Book.” The “Look Book” makes getting dressed easy with dozens of outfit ideas that you know make you feel great. Whether it’s casual Friday at work or you have a big date, the “Look Book” makes getting ready easy.

9. What are your most popular services?
Our services are tailored to fit a client’s need. Our Closet Edit services are always very popular because they are the foundation to great style. Clients also really enjoy our Style Retainer services. Based on their wardrobe needs, each month we shop for pieces to freshen their look. Clients enjoy having something new and fresh each month without having to go look for it themselves. Our Style Retainer services are a lot of fun and can be done in any price range.

10. How can I include my friends?
Fashion is always fun with friends. Grab a cocktail and your gals and host a Style Party. We’ll talk about clothing 101, closet editing and answer your style questions. A Style Party is only $25 per guest. You can also grab some friends and shop with the Style Concierge.

11.What if I am having a style emergency?

12. Do you have gift certificates?
Yes, we do have gift certificates. Gift Certificates are great for friends and family, your Mom who is looking for that special dress to wear to your wedding, your sister who always complains she has nothing to wear (which is why she swiped your favorite sweater!), or the husband looking for the perfect gift for his wife. We also offer personal shopping services for husbands to help them find the perfect gift for any occasion.
